So many accidents happen while horses are tied up.

Tying up requires the horse to override their true nature to run away from scary things. Learning to stand still no matter what happens and not pull back is crucial to safe tying up. It is a huge test of courage and trust not to be able to run away from scary things.

We need to help them override their flight instincts by fully preparing them. Often we teach them to tie up in one place, this plan takes it to a new level of generalisation and builds confidence to tie up anywhere no matter what.

The Shaping plan for safe tying up will help any equine from foal upwards, even those that don’t like being tied.
